The Yahoo! Summit Series presents events for marketers and advertising agencies, highlighting key industry issues. Yahoo! commissioned a study from Create with Context to help understand how search and social media influence major purchase decisions, both online and offline. Based on in-home research throughout the US, we highlighted the emerging roles of the Online Megaphone and the Community Influencer; this knowledge, combined with quantitative data from comScore, formed the basis for the Yahoo! Summit Series - Engaging Advocates Through Search and Social Media.
